I think I'm close to having all the colours of the rainbow in this ^_^

Another late night bento - it feels like I'm more creative when the rest of the family is sleeping. Also with my new work hours, it's a necessity, but I'm not complaining!

The eggs were supposed to be black *L* I used black dye, but they turned out pink and purple - and when I poured the water in the sink it was green O.o - anyway I liked their new colours better than the black I'd intended so it was a happy accident I guess ^_^

Multicolour pasta with tomato sauce and spices, topped with Hello Kitty-shaped carrots (and a star...) Turkey meatballs, peas, corn on the cob, watermelon and dyed quail eggs.

Hello there!

I'm a new member/first time poster. ヾ(⌒ω⌒)ゝ Yoroshiku!
I found out about this group literally a few minutes ago through a friend and decided I'd enjoy being a member here! 

My boyfriend is still holding quite a few of my things hostage at his place, so I have to work with what I have until he gets the money to send things over or until I can buy everything again. Therefore, I apologize for not being able to make everything overly cute at the moment.

So what do we have inside our little box? A large piece of washed and steamed letuce. Over that, mini omuraisu rolls. I used a bit of sushi flavored powder on the rice for extra flavor. I also added honey in to the egg mix. The strawberries were dipped over night in berry juice for a more fruity flavor and the last is a small ball of rice stuffed with tuna.

Bento #1, first post

hey there, first i would like to introduce myself. my name is natalie and i am a 26 year old student in philadelphia PA. i recently got into reading about bento and enjoying this community. this is my first post. i couldn't wait for my boxes to come in the mail and i made a whole bunch of onigri yesterday. here's my lunch for today:

up top we have 2 brown rice onigri with wasabi  furikake, steak strips wrapped over carrots, spinach, carrot sticks, and cukes. i don't have any of my fancy cutting stuff yet, but i think this turned out pretty good.
