One store, Pica Pica, has a few kitchen items. I found a bunch of bento bags there, and the saleslady told me that at one point there had been matching bento boxes but they'd sold out. It's kind of like a small dollar store where things are more than a dollar! I suppose they get in new stock pretty regularly. There's also a Sanrio store with a few things, but really not very much. They have a LOT of stuff on sale, though, and I got some little bento boxes there half price today. They get in new stock every month. Pica Pica isn't on the directory in the mall (although it is listed on the website). It's store number 501.

I can get the phone number and building number when I drive by again- it's right down the street from me.
Also, I would add Kawaii Gifts, in Shadyside. They had some bento boxes and other bento accessories there last I checked. Mainly Sanrio stuff.

I thoguht I saw a place at the Palisades Mall but I didn't have enough time to check anything out. (I was with my boyfriend and a bunch of his mother's students on a field trip.)

There's the international district, which is part of downtown Seattle. There are little groceries and vegetable stands all over the place, in addition to restaurants, shops, etc. My favorite place to shop over there is a little complex on the corner of tenth and Jackson. I tend to shop mostly at Viet Wah (which I believe is a chain; there seems to be one opening soon in Newcastle, WA), but there's another grocery store next door that has a lot of great things -- like bitter melon.
I haven't gone looking for bento boxes, rice molds, etc, but Seattle's international district is called Chinatown for a reason. If people are specifically looking for a box, they're probably going to want to check out Uwajimaya, unless they're looking for antique or family-sized boxes.
There's also an area in Tacoma with, I think, mostly Korean restaurants and shops. It's a string of shops, restaurants, etc, along S Tacoma Way. Starting from about 84th and heading south, the string of shops continues for a couple of miles. I like to visit the Boo Han (Hyundai Foods) when I'm in the area to get vegetables and noodles for soup and sometimes to pick up a box of those awesome Nong Shim bowls.

They only carry a very simple white bento box, but I thought it was worth mentioning because it's the only place in Barcelona (and probably in the rest of Spain) where I've found bento-related stuff. The chopsticks, the belts and the matching bags are sold separately.

I've been lurking here for a while, so I thought I would mention:For anybody in/near NW Arkansas, there is a store in the mall in Fayetteville called Juliameez which has a bunch of nice cooking stuff, including onigiri and sushi molds. They also have some nifty miniature silicon baking cups that are the perfect height for a bento box.
I'm looking for some Asian markets around here, but they seem to be well hidden or not open when I do get there.
